It all started in 1976, when George’s Drive-In opened its doors with a simple idea: serve good food with a side of hometown hospitality. Back then, we had 9 barstools, a small but mighty kitchen, and carhops bringing burgers and shakes right to your car window.
Over the years, Anderson fell in love with George’s. Our hamburger steaks became legendary, and soon enough, we weren’t just serving meals, we were serving generations. Today, George’s is a local tradition. The kids we greeted at the window in 1976 are now coming back with their own families, keeping the spirit of George’s alive and well.
